Asylum was a proof of concept for a 2D point-and-click adventure game created in Unity for my University senior thesis. Inspired by the short story “The Yellow Wallpaper” by Charlotte Perkins, Asylum focused on the mistreatment of women in the Victorian era. The game followed a narrative with our main character, but also exposed the cruel treatments used at the time, as well as telling true stories from women who experienced these institutions.
